ANSWER: Weekend Morning Trivia: Tom Meyer Edition

Today's question comes from "The Investigator" Tom Meyer who asks us, "What celebrity did I once share a desk with?"

The answer was C. Oprah Winfrey - Tom said they worked together and shared a desk at WTVF in Nashville, TN from 1976-1977. Tom went on to say that he then moved on to bigger and better things in Cleveland, and that the last he heard, Oprah was doing ok and living in Chicago. (very funny Tom!)

Bookworm Buzz: Saturday, Nov. 14th

The first book is "Twas The Night Before Thanksgiving" by Natasha Wing. This is a spin-off as you might guess of "Twas The Night Before Christmas".

Next is a book for pre-schoolers that are learning to count, and it's called "Five Silly Turkeys" by Salina Yoon.

And last but not least, this one's always a favorite, it's "Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving", by Charles Schultz. These books should help get you and your family all set for the big day.

ANSWER: Weekend Morning Trivia: Mike O'Mara Edition

Today's question comes from WKYC reporter Mike O'Mara who asks us, "What is the name of my sailboat?"

The answer was B. Adagio, which is a tempo marking indicating that a portion of music is to be played slowly. This is similar to the way a sailboat moves along the open water... slow and smooth.

Bookworm Buzz: Saturday, Nov. 7th

This morning we are featuring a couple of new books from some of our favorite characters. There are two new Berenstain Bears books, the first is called "The Berenstain Bears Give Thanks" and it's out just in time for Thanksgiving.

The next book is also perfect as we head into the holidays, and it's called "The Berenstain Bears Christmas Tree".

On this morning's show, we were fortunate to have Michael Berenstain, the author and illustrator of the Berenstain Bears in studio to talk about the new books as well as the legacy of the popular children's books.

Michael was in town for a book signing event Saturday at Joseph-Beth Booksellers at Legacy Village from 1-3 pm. The signing is free and open to the public. For more information on the event CLICK HERE

Today's Law: Witnessing a crime

In California, a 15-year-old girl was gang raped at her homecoming dance, and as many as 20 people either took part or watched.

What makes the case more troubling is that the sexual assault went on for two hours, while many stood by and did nothing.

The answer was D: Dayton

Tom worked in Dayton for 4 1/2 years, and on his audition tape, he had an interview with then Mayor Dennis Kucinich who said a few eyebrow raising things that impressed the news director and wond Tom the job in Cleveland. Tom says he still jokes with Dennis to this day about helping to get him his job at WKYC.
