CLEVELAND -- An Air Quality Advisory for fine particles has been issued for Thursday, February 2, 2012, for Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, and Summit Counties.
Fine particles levels will be 'Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups' during peak hours.
Continued accumulation of pollutants from motor vehicle exhaust and other local sources will result in fine particles and haze in the atmosphere.
These fine particles accumulate due to stagnant atmospheric conditions, presence of moisture and temperature inversion resulting in air pollution which will be unhealthy for sensitive groups.
If you are in the "Sensitive Groups" category of children, the elderly, and those with breathing difficulties, please monitor your outdoor activity and Check Today's Air Quality for a live map of hourly air monitor readings.
