LAKE COUNTY -- A Lake County jury has convicted a Beachwood mother of four on charges she tried to hire a hitman to kill her ex-husband.
The two were reportedly in a custody fight over their four daughters.
Christine Metter, 41, showed little reaction in the courtroom as the jury announced its verdict.
She's scheduled for sentencing on March 1.
According to prosecutors, Metter and her father met with an undercover Eastlake detective who posed as the hitman.
The jury began its deliberations Thursday morning and reached its verdict just a few hours later.
