An Akron man who was wanted on charges connected to a robbery and fatal shooting from earlier this month has surrendered to authorities.
Akron police say 20-year-old Robert A. Davis Jr. turned himself in shortly after midnight and has been booked into the Summit County Jail.
Davis faces charges of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery for his alleged role in the robbery and shooting death of Phillip Anderson, which took place on Jan. 10 in the 800 block of Princeton St.
One other suspect in the crime is already in custody. Just two days after the incident, Akron police arrested 20-year-old Demarcus Williams for his alleged role in the crime on charges of complicity to commit aggravated murder and complicity to commit aggravated robbery.
