Fugitive of the Week wanted for heroin trafficking

A man wanted by the Summit County Sheriff's Office has been named Fugitive of the Week by U.S. Marshals.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of Gerald Howard, 60.

Howard is wanted on a warrant for trafficking in heroin issued in October 2011. Task force members say they have followed leads tracking Howard from Akron to Cleveland's East side, specifically in the area of East 35th Street.

Howard is 6'1" and weighs 220 pounds. Marshals say he has a criminal history that stretches back to the 1970s.
