Fugitive of the Week caught after WKYC viewer calls in tip

This week's Fugitive of the Week was caught Monday afternoon after someone saw the WKYC.com web story and called in a tip to U.S. Marshals.

No details on the arrest were available and the U.S. Marshals' spokesman did not say where the Fugitive was caught.

Kevin Gilmore was wanted by the U.S. Marshals for being deemed an escaped federal prisoner.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force offered a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Kevin Gilmore.

Gilmore was serving a 150-month sentence for a conviction on a bank robbery from back in 2000.

Gilmore, 44, stands about 6 feet tall and weighs 195 pounds.  He has blue eyes and blond hair but Gilmore usually shaves his head bald.

Gilmore has been known to reside in Cleveland and Parma and he also has family ties in Summit and Medina counties.

He has been known to use social network sites like Facebook.

Gilmore has a criminal history that includes violence and should be considered armed and dangerous.
