An Akron area man wanted on a charge of rape has been named Fugitive of the Week. The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of Jeremy Huth.

Huth is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the New Franklin Police Department on a charge of rape. Huth allegedly raped a girl under the age of 15 on August 28, 2011 at a residence in the city of New Franklin, which is south of Akron.
Huth, 40, stands approximately 5'10" and weigs 165 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes. Huth is believed to be hiding around the Akron area. He also has a previous address near the 1000 block of Pardee Avenue in Akron.
Anyone with information can call the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Hotline at 1-866-4-WANTED, or can text message a tip to TIP411 (847411) on their mobile device, and enter the keyword WANTED, along with the information.
Both callers and texters can remain anonymous, and qualify for reward money.
