CLEVELAND HEIGHTS -- At 8 a.m. Thursday, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Deandrae Bouyer, 30, after receiving information Bouyer was in the Cleveland Heights area.
Bouyer was wanted by the Cuyahoga Co. Sheriff's office for violating his probation and failing to register as a sex offender. Bouyer's original offense charged him with breaking into a female's home, holding her against her will and raping her.

Bouyer was named Fugitive of the Week on Oct. 24.

Because of his conviction for that crime, Bouyer is required to register his home address with the county he resides in. Bouyer failed to do so.
The Cuyahoga Co. Sheriff contacted the NOVFTF and requested assistance in locating Bouyer.
Shortly thereafter, the U.S. Marshals added Bouyer to their Dangerous Dozen Most Wanted list.
Members of the U. S. Marshals Task Force in Cleveland received information that Bouyer was staying at a residence around the 2200 block on Edgewood Avenue in Cleveland Heights.
Task force members went to the residence and spoke with a female that lived at the home. While speaking with the woman, task force officers observed a man fitting Bouyer's description peeking out of a back window.
Officers went in the home and found Bouyer hiding on the back stoop and arrested him without incident.
Bouyer was taken to the Cuyahoga County Jail.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said, "The tips we continue to receive based on the fugitive of the week have made a tremendous impact on protecting our community."
