CLEVELAND -- An 18-year-old Cleveland man wanted by U.S. Marshals in connection with a series of neighborhood shootings turned himself in Tuesday.

Dayvaughn Ervin was also being sought by Fourth District Cleveland police officers following several incidents in the area of Union Avenue.

On Aug. 30, Ervin  is accused of pulling a gun on a man and demanding his hooded sweatshirt. The victim handed over the sweatshirt and ran for his life.

While he was running away, he heard several gunshots. Police say, Ervin, just moments after robbing the first man, had gotten into an argument with another man in the parking lot of Union Deli at 116th Street and Union Avenue in Cleveland.

During that argument, Ervin pulled out his gun again, shot the victim a number of times, and left the area, according to Cleveland Police.
