According to police, on July 3, Gay was involved in a huge street fight on Grantham Road, a fight that escalated into a riot.
For some reason, he and others involved in the fight attacked a man who was watching the riot.
The bystander was severely beaten and robbed of $300.
Gay ran off and has been pursued by police and deputies since then. The U.S. Attorney's office says Gay has a significant criminal history and should be considered dangerous.
On the street, Gay is known as "A.A." and "G-Money." He stands 5'11" and weighs 230 pounds. Other aliases include Christopher Heard and Aaron White.
A cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Aaron Gay is being offered by the U.S. Marshal's service.
