Deputies say Propst is an experienced outdoorsman with extensive survival skills. He could be hiding out in wooded areas in Ohio, West Virginia, or Pennsylvania. He frequently visited state and national forests.

Propst is accused of shooting to death his wife, Paulette, on August 30 at their home on Dodgeville Road in New Lyme Township in Ashtabula County.

He drove off in a white 1994 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with an extended cab. The pickup's Ohio license plate number is BV38QG.

Brian Koerbel, Deputy U.S. Marshal, says Propst withdrew a large amount of cash just prior to killing his wife. He also loaded his pickup truck with outdoor equipment and survival gear.

Propst had no other criminal history other than a recent domestic violence charge. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The Fugitive of the Week program offers a cash reward for the information which leads to the arrest of the wanted fugitives. Tips can be phoned into the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Hotline, at 1-866-4-WANTED.
