AKRON -- Akron Police continue their mission to shut down area meth labs.
Within the first few weeks of 2012, Akron Police shut down nearly a dozen meth labs.
The vigilant effort continued Wednesday night.
Akron Police tell Channel 3 News that authorities went to an address on Carey Avenue to serve a warrant. When authorities arrived, they realized they were at a meth lab location.
For much of Wednesday night the house was cleared of all the tools, drugs, and paraphernalia associated with this activity.
All the tools were brought out to the front lawn to catalogue it and then carted away.
When more details become available, Channel 3 News and wkyc.com will have them available.
