COPLEY -- A Friday the 13th "lock-in" at Copley High School has lead to disciplinary action against four students.

It was supposed to be a team-building exercise, but it got out of hand.

The wrestling team at Copley High School stayed overnight Friday, and during the event at the high school, some students started putting food down the pants of other wrestlers.

During the incident, which was out of view of the four adult chaperones, one student suffered a minor hand injury and another claimed to have a knife to stop the incident.

The police were notified but today Chief Michael Mier characterized it as "horseplay."

"The police department is not planning to take any further action," says Chief Mier.

The district will not discuss what type of punishment the students received, but practice took place after school Wednesday and the season goes on.
