BRECKSVILLE -- Voters easily passed the 6.8 mill renewal levy on the ballot for the Brecksville-Broadview Heights schools on Tuesday night.
In unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, 3,848 voters (74 percent) voted FOR the levy and 1,360 voters (26 percent) voted AGAINST the levy.
The 6.8 mill renewal levy is a three-year term, dual purpose levy that was first approved by voters in 1997 and renewed every three years since then.
A renewal levy does not increase taxes.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights board of education had already been placed on the November ballot in case voters don't pass the issue Tuesday.
