Westlake: Stolen credit card charged for $12k in one day

WESTLAKE -- Police say a Westlake woman's Discover card was stolen from her van on June 25 while it was parked at the Westlake Recreation Center.

It was found to have been used that same day for charges in excess of $12,000 at four Best Buy and one Apple stores around the Greater Cleveland area.

Police have obtained a surveillance photo of a woman that used the stolen card at the Best Buy store in Avon.

She purchased a 15" Apple MacBook there and at the Westlake Apple store as well.

The other purchases are also believed to be of MacBooks.
