PIKE TOWNSHIP -- A 70-year-old man was killed in a Friday afternoon crash in Stark County that involved two cars and a motorcycle.
An investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol shows that Thomas McCaffrey, 70, was headed south on S.R. 800 when he veared left of center hitting an oncoming car around 2:30 p.m.
Earl Bush, 85, who was headed north on S.R. 800 before being hit by McCaffrey's vehicle, was taken to Aultman hospital to be treated for his injuries.
A motorcycle rider, Shawn Dennis, 39, was also headed north on S.R. 800 when he struck McCaffrey's car soon after the crash. Dennis was also taken to Aultman Hospital.
McCaffrey was pronounced dead at the scene by Chief Investigator Campbell of the Stark County Coroner's Office.
Conditions of the two injured victims are not known at the time.
