CLEVELAND -- An Eastlake man struck by a train Thursday night in Mentor has died at Metrohealth Medical Center.
Police identified the man as Zlatko Rosandic, 52, of Eastlake. Just before 9 p.m. Thursday, police and the fire department got calls that a passerby found a man who may have been struck by a train by the railroad tracks on Industrial Parkway Boulevard.
Employees at a nearby company say Zlatko went out for a break and never came back.
He was first taken to Lake West Hospital in Willoughby and then taken by LifeFlight to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was admitted in critical condition.
