Karen's mushroom pork chops
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 1 hour
Serves: 6 adults (1 pork chop can be split into two for small children, however please be careful of bones)

Ingredients:
6 medium to large sized pork chops (with bone in)
1 pint regular sour cream
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup (10.75 ounces each)
1 can mushrooms (pieces are fine); drain the juice out of the can
Minced onion (amount depends on your preference but I normally use at least one tablespoons worth)
Vegetable oil

Directions:
Lightly line bottom of pan with vegetable oil, use just enough that the pork chops don't stick to pan
On stovetop quickly brown both sides of pork chops on medium heat
Drain grease out of pan if there is a lot (there shouldn't be)
Once pork chops are browned on both sides add sour cream, soup, mushrooms and minced onion to pan
Cover chops evenly with mixture and cover pan with lid or aluminum foil
Simmer on low heat for 1 hour
Flip chops every 15 minutes

Serve with either mashed potatoes or rice and use gravy over whichever you choose. Yields plenty of gravy.

Also serve with vegetables of choice; it's very good with carrots or cauliflower. My kids love this dish, it is their favorite!!!

Thanks Karen!

Hollie~
