Dante Boccuzzi: Shabu Shabu

Ponzu

Ingredients:

6 T. soy sauce
3 T rice vinegar
3 T lemon juice
2 T pure honey

Method:

Combine  all the ingredients in a bowl with a wisk.

 

Shabu Shabu

Ingredients:

6 oz sliced beef striploin
¼ c. scallion sliced thin
¼ c. carrot sliced thin
½ c. napa cabbage sliced ½" thick
¼ c. shitake caps
¼ c. enoki caps
Water
Kombu seaweed

 

  Bring the water to a boil with the seaweed.  With your chopsticks swish (shabu) swish (shabu) the meat and vegetables in the boiling broth until cooked to desired temperature.

Dip in the ponzu and enjoy.
